Software robots are part of the workforce so they need to be managed like humans, at the same time they are IT products that need to be managed like software. This hybrid requires a different kind of management that many organizations have not yet encountered. At the same time, the change management aspect when introducing a robotic workforce should not be underestimated. For automation to be culturally adopted, senior management need to drive it forward. Where we see a lack of exponential growth, it is just divisional implementation pioneered at middle management level.
